KV Tileworks installs tile flooring for homeowners across Seminole, Orange, Volusia, Lake, and Osceola counties. Whether you're replacing carpet with porcelain, running large-format plank tile through an open floor plan, or finishing a new build with natural stone, we handle it right from substrate to grout.
Florida's heat and humidity are hard on flooring. Carpet holds moisture. LVP can buckle under extreme temperature swings and doesn't hold up the same way in high-traffic areas. Tile is the durable choice, and in the luxury homes we work in, it's often the only choice that makes sense.
We install tile flooring throughout the whole home or in targeted areas. Material selection is part of the process. We work with suppliers across Central Florida to find the right tile for your layout, lighting, and the way you use the space.

Every material has a different weight, grout joint requirement, and maintenance profile. We'll help you find what works for your home.
Porcelain Tile
Dense, moisture-resistant, and available in large formats up to 48 inches. The go-to choice for high-end Central Florida homes. Works in bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, and outdoor spaces.
Ceramic Tile
A practical choice for interior floors with lower foot traffic. Ceramic holds up well in bedrooms and living areas. Wide range of colors, textures, and sizes. Easier to cut on intricate layouts.
Wood-Look Plank Tile
The durability of porcelain with the look of hardwood. Popular in living rooms and open floor plans. We install in straight, offset, and herringbone patterns. Stands up to Florida humidity in a way real wood can't.
Natural Stone
Travertine, marble, slate, and limestone. Every piece is unique. Common in high-end Heathrow, Lake Mary, and Winter Park homes. Requires proper sealing and maintenance. We'll walk you through what to expect long-term.
Large-Format Slab Tile
Trending in Winter Park and Heathrow. 24x48 and 32x32 porcelain slabs create a continuous, minimal look with fewer grout lines. Require precise leveling and specialized installation. We have the tools and experience to do it right.
Outdoor & Lanai Tile
Pool decks, lanais, and outdoor kitchens. Must be slip-rated and handle UV exposure without fading. We specify the right tile for outdoor use and install with the correct drainage slope.

Most tile flooring failures start at the substrate. Hollow spots, cracks, and unlevel floors all create movement that eventually breaks grout joints and loosens tiles. We assess the substrate before any material gets selected and address any issues before the first tile goes down.
Central Florida homes are mostly built on concrete slab. That means grinding high spots, filling low areas, and using the right thinset for the specific tile format and weight. Large-format porcelain requires a different approach than 12x12 ceramic. We don't treat every job the same.
Different areas, different priorities. Here's what we see most in the markets we work in.
Large-format slab porcelain is the dominant trend. Homeowners in these communities lean toward 24x48 and 32x32 formats in light concrete and warm stone looks. Whole-home installs are common, often replacing LVP or older tile throughout.
Natural stone and large-format porcelain with book-matched patterns. New construction in this area often specs polished marble and travertine. Remodels commonly convert carpet or wood floors to tile throughout living and entertaining areas.
High-demand remodel market. A lot of whole-home tile conversions, replacing older builder-grade tile with updated large-format porcelain or wood-look plank. Heathrow community remodels are a consistent part of our schedule here.
Larger floor plans with open living areas. Wood-look plank tile is popular for the main living level. Outdoor living spaces, pool decks, and lanai tile are common add-ons in this market.
Active remodel market with a mix of whole-home tile installs and targeted bathroom and kitchen flooring upgrades. Porcelain plank tile is the most common request in this area.
We work with builders and homeowners during new construction to spec and install tile flooring across the entire home. Layout planning, material selection, and coordination with other trades is part of the process.
