Original early-2000s tile over cement board that had seen moisture behind the shower wall. Full demo to studs, new Go Board waterproofing system, and a full tile reset. No shortcuts on the substrate work.

Homeowner wanted tile through the kitchen, living room, and all bathrooms in one scope. We handled layout, transitions, and bathroom tile simultaneously so everything tied together.
Oviedo has a lot of well-built homes from the 1980s, 1990s, and early 2000s whose bathrooms have not been touched since the day they were installed. Original builder-grade showers with fiberglass surrounds, old tub enclosures, floor tile set without a proper waterproofing membrane. These are the projects we see most often here, and they are work we do well. Full demo, proper substrate prep, correct waterproofing, and a finished bathroom that looks like it belongs in a newer home.
Tub-to-shower conversions are one of the most common calls we get from Oviedo homeowners. A garden tub that nobody uses becomes a custom walk-in shower with a built-in bench, a niche, and a curb or barrier-free threshold. We handle every part of the tile work, including waterproofing the shower pan with Go Board, Wedi, Schluter KERDI, or RedGard. The waterproofing system is not something to cut corners on, and we do not.
