Mount Dora is two places at once. The historic downtown and the older neighborhoods immediately around it — Highland Avenue, Donnelly, the lake-facing streets — are full of late-1800s and early-1900s homes with real character. North and east of downtown, there is a steady run of newer premium construction, often retiree-built or second homes for snowbirds.
Both halves are good fits for us when the scope is right. Historic-home work means careful substrate and framing assessment before any new tile. Newer premium work means executing to a clean spec with high finish standards.
