KV Tileworks was built by James and Andrew. Two guys who take this work seriously and have no interest in cutting corners on anything.
KV Tileworks came together when two people with different paths crossed in Central Florida. James is a lifelong Floridian with a finance degree from UCF and an MBA, who spent his career managing complex technical programs, where the job is making sure every detail is accounted for before anything goes wrong on-site. He sharpened that eye further running fix-and-flip projects on the side, and he channels both into KV Tileworks: tight scopes, clear communication, and nothing left to chance from the first estimate to the final walkthrough. Andrew ran his own tile business in Colorado before moving to Sanford with his girlfriend and three kids. He brought with him years of hands-on installation experience, jobsite discipline, and a practical understanding of what makes tile work last. The way he approaches tile work, you can tell nobody rushed a single inch of it.
Together they formed KV Tileworks LLC. Between them, over 15 years of hands-on experience in tile, construction, and remodeling. What drives both of them is simple: the customer comes first. Every call gets returned, every scope gets written down, and every job gets treated like it's their own home.
We work with homeowners doing high-end remodels and with luxury new construction builders across Central Florida. The scale changes. The standard does not.

James has lived in Florida his whole life. He is married with two kids, and that probably explains why he takes every finished bathroom personally. Years of home renovations and business building shaped the way he approaches tile work. He doesn't miss things. He notices what other people walk past. If a grout line is off, if a tile isn't flush, if the edge trim isn't sitting exactly right, he's not moving on until it is.
His standard is simple: treat every job like you're the one living with it.
"I want as close to perfect as you can get. That's not me being difficult, that's just the standard I hold myself to."

Andrew has been drawn to art, drawing, and design since childhood. That instinct never went away. It just found a medium. He built a tile business in Colorado from the ground up, developing a reputation for layouts and custom designs that make people stop and look twice. His layout planning is exact, and he has faced enough unusual spaces and tricky substrates that almost nothing surprises him anymore.
Andrew ran his own tile business in Colorado before moving to Sanford with his girlfriend and three kids. He looks at a blank shower wall and already sees how it ends. The design is solved before the first tile goes down.
"The design side of this is what keeps it interesting. When a homeowner sees the finished space for the first time, that reaction is everything."

The projects that get us going are the ones other installers pass on. Full floor-to-ceiling wall tile. Large-format porcelain in spaces where less experienced crews would tell you it can't be done cleanly. Custom pattern layouts sourced from a design inspiration photo and built from scratch.
We work on high-end residential remodels and luxury new construction. Some of our best work has been on new builds where the builder trusted us to handle every tile surface in the home, from the entry floor to the master bath.
What keeps both of us in this trade is the moment a homeowner walks into their finished bathroom for the first time. That reaction is the whole point.
Large-Format Tile
Oversized porcelain slabs, floor-to-ceiling wall tile, minimal grout lines. The installs other contractors avoid.
Custom Design Layouts
Herringbone, Versailles, book-matched stone, mixed-material feature walls. Andrew has laid it all.
Luxury New Construction
We work directly with luxury builders on high-end new builds across Central Florida, handling all tile from spec to finish.
